There won't be regular school today. Oh,we will be there. Students will flood into the building,come into my classroom,even pull out a book. But nothing in books will do for today. Their eyes will pass right through me,and watch out the win...dow. I could stand and recite the entire book,tell them an elephant was in the room,but none of it will matter. Because today in the south,it is different.
We know in the north they are inundated with it,but here in the south,it is still rare enough to make us all stop and wonder and watch and wait..
